Axiom Advocates is delighted to welcome new member Dan Byrne, adding to the breadth of public law experience in Axiom.
Dan principally practices in public law. He has broad experience in that field. He acts for both petitioners and respondents. He is a standing junior to the Scottish Government and a preferred counsel to the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
He acts in a variety of judicial review petitions and appeals challenging decisions of public bodies such as local authorities, regulatory bodies, tribunals and government. His public law cases mostly raise interesting issues of Human Rights, International Law, EU Law and traditional public law grounds of review.
This area of work traverses the housing of failed asylum seekers to judicial review of regulatory bodies over their approval of pharmaceutical products.
