Axiom Advocates welcomes new member Ewen CampbellBack to News Listing
Axiom Advocates is delighted to welcome new member Ewen Campbell, having called to the bar on Friday 12th July 2013.
Ewen has called to the Bar after training and practising as a litigation solicitor at Levy & McRae. Throughout his time in practise, Ewen had a substantial caseload span ning a large variety of litigation disputes. This allowed him to appear in courts and tribunals throughout Scotland as well as being involved in international litigation.
Ewen has particular experience and interest in both commercial and media litigation. As a solicitor he has advised newspapers and individuals on national and international matters relating to defamation, privacy, contempt of court and harassment.
Ewen has worked on cases dealing with clinical and professional negligence. This included advising on professional negligence matters arising from a £50m share purchase agreement. He has also advised on intellectual property disputes involving, amongst other things, copyright entitlement of sub-contractors and passing off. Ewen has also been involved in cases dealing with the Competition Commission, sports regulation, licensing, crime, personal injury and FAI’s. As a result of this diverse experience, Ewen has worked with a broad range of clients including high profile individuals and organisations.
During devilling Ewen tutored on the Commercial Law course at the University of Glasgow and is a welcome addition to Axiom.
