Axiom Advocates secure fifteen notes of interest in top legal directoryBack to News Listing
Axiom Advocates, the group comprising many of Scotland's top advocates specialising in commercial and public law, has made a significant impact in its first six months as a devolved stable as Chambers and Partners includes almost half its advocates in its 2008 directory.
Chambers UK 2008 ranks 11 Axiom QCs and advocates as "leaders in their field" with a further four identified as "up and coming", following independent research carried out by the highly acclaimed legal bible.
David Johnston QC, Chairman of Axiom Advocates, said:
"In the industry, Chambers and Partners is regarded as the best-researched and most authoritative independent legal directory in the UK. It is therefore very encouraging to see many of Axiom's counsel listed.
"From the outset, we knew that, by selecting our stable on merit, we would build a strong team at senior and junior levels. I am delighted that Chambers UK 2008 recognises that."
