Professional experience

Emma called to the Bar in 2022 as a Faculty Scholar, following seven years in practice as a solicitor.

Emma practices in all areas of commercial dispute resolution, including contract, company/corporate, insolvency, technology, professional negligence/discipline, property and financial services matters. Emma is regularly instructed in a variety of matters, including high value and complex litigation at first instance and also in appellant proceedings. She has particular experience in group proceedings, having acted on behalf of a variety of parties pursuing, and defending, group claims in the Court of Session in Scotland, across varied sectors.
